From a humanitarian perspective, our fellow human beings, who migrate to support their families, continue to suffer at the hands of immigration policies that separate them from family members and drive them into remote parts of the American desert, sometimes to their deaths. This suffering should not continue.

Now is the time to address this pressing humanitarian issue which affects so many lives and undermines basic human dignity. Our society should no longer tolerate a status quo that perpetuates a permanent underclass of persons and benefits from their labor without offering them legal protections.

This is true. Many new people from different places are registering to vote. This shift will continue on for a very long time.

The illegal immigrant population has had a verydetrimental effect on the legal ciizens of the United Staes. Wehave personally experienced longer wait times at emergency rooms and overcrowding in schools and the lowering of tax bases due to the fact that the majority of illegal work soley for cah and do not contribute (again personal experience) to the community and in the end put a terrible strain on working citizens.
Theremust be tort reform making sure that all children born to illegal immigrants will not be U.S. citizens and they should never be paid i cash and MUST have a legal visa or a VALID tax ID number and then return to the US legally after being sent back to their orignal countries.

As a US citizen, when I travel overseas I must obide by the laws of other nations and we would be deportedif we overstayed our visas.
