Yes it is a sad story especially to those of us who knew and loved Pat.

God Bless the family, particularly Mom, Mary, who lead the fight to restore Pat's honesty and integrity.

I hope Krakauer will honor the same. Pat deserves nothing less than the truth handeled respectfully.

I think this story is really sad because the family should've been told the truth from the beginning.

Everyone understands that accidents happen in combat but with a seemingly cover up like this, it makes you wonder if it really was an accident or not.

I think you need to check your facts, I am pretty sure he was not a Marine. I believe he was a Ranger. But then getting the story right probably isn't important to you.
